Echo Chase I: The Epstein Files
What are they? Where did they come from? Where did they go?
This morning, Karoline Leavitt, the US press secretary, held a routine press conference. For about a minute and a half, she addressed a question about a hot button topic which has plagued this country’s discourse for nearly a decade—Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein was an American financier and prolific sex trafficker, who owned a private island on which he and his friends routinely committed violent, heinous sex crimes against young men, women, and children. The Epstein Files, purported to hold damning evidence against his co-conspirators, including flight logs and a client list, have been sought after by millions of Americans for six years straight. Yet yesterday evening, the Trump administration released a statement not only denying the existence of the client list, but also claiming that Epstein had in fact killed himself, a stunning reversal of their previous statements.
Despite the horrific nature of the crimes, and their lasting impact on the nation’s consciousness, it was breezed past like it was just another news item, discussed alongside foreign affairs, trade policy, and immigration. From 16:27 to 17:50 in the video below, Leavitt and Fox News Contributor Peter Doocy have a brief exchange on the subject.
Epstein was arrested in July 2019 and died in prison about a month later in August 2019. Then, and for years afterwards, President Trump was among the loudest voices calling for the release of the Epstein Files, and promoting the conspiracy theory that Epstein had not killed himself in prison. Six years later, the president’s base is dividing against itself over this announcement. While Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, Trump’s top FBI officials, have gone back on their prior endorsements of the conspiracy theory, others have spoken out. MAGA icons like Laura Loomer and Elon Musk, have voiced their concerns over a potential cover-up. Some have chosen to remain silent, such as Marjorie Taylor Greene, despite being previously outspoken on the issue. The reversal, its the pursuing fallout, comes just one month after Musk, once Trump’s staunchest ally, tweeted that Trump is named in Epstein’s client list.
Trump and Epstein were long time friends, palling around for seventeen years before falling out in 2004 over a real estate dispute. While Trump is named in some of the documents, he has not directly been named as an accomplice in the files. However, he has been accused of sexual misconduct by a disturbing number of women, two of whom are connected to both Epstein and Trump. Trump would also go on to hire Alexander Acosta, a man who actively helped Epstein evade prison time.
The timing of the release of this message feels purposeful. During a time of intense anxiety due to the Big Beautiful Bill, and agony over the deaths of dozens, including children, in the Texas floods, this news could quickly become lost in the shuffle. Presidents have deployed similar tactics before to sneak out executive orders or obscure scandals. Though there is no explicit evidence that the timing of the release was intentional, based on precedent, it is worthy of suspicion.
The most important takeaway from this situation is that the files do, in fact, exist.
Heavily redacted versions of the files were released in February by US Attorney General Pam Bondi. Included among these files were flight logs, a contact list over 90 pages long, and a list of 254 masseuses, the latter of which were all redacted. Heavily redacted versions of additional flight logs and other records can be found on CBP’s website. Just six days ago, Bondi also asserted that she had access to ‘tens of thousands’ of videos, including child exploitative material, previously owned by Epstein. A wider conspiracy, a true conspiracy, is pointed to an official court document released during the first Trump administration—the indictment against Epstein. Epstein’s network was, at the very least, upheld by his partner in crime Ghislaine Maxwell, his good friend Prince Andrew, and modelling tycoon Jean-Luc Brunel, the latter of whom was found dead in his prison cell a few years after Epstein. Other industry leaders, bankers, and financiers have since been connected to Epstein, though official charges have not been pursued.
Survivors, hopeful for justice for decades, have now received an officially stamped slap across the face by this administration. The existing evidence of their suffering is being concealed, and any embers of hope for justice for these women are being extinguished before their eyes. The only cover-up conclusively occuring here is the one unfolding before your very eyes.
Jeffrey Epstein was buried under the watch of the first Trump administration, and the Epstein Files are being buried under the second.

SAVING THE COUNTRY FROM TRUMP
If you want to get rid of Trump then we have to get the Democrats the majority.
Make sure you vote for Democrat representatives in 2026. OTHERWISE TRUMP AND HIS CORRUPT NETWORK WILL CONTINUE THEIR DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA
FOR NOW ——-///-
Everyone has to educate their House and Senate representatives about Trump raping women and children. Everyone has to educate them that Trump is doing everything in his power to cover that up. Call, write letters and emails to your representatives.
There are a few representatives that don't know how evil/corrupt Trump and his network actually are. Almost all of the republicans know. They are just such lowlifes that they are worried about losing their jobs once everyone finds out.
THE EPSTEIN/TRUMP FILES HAVE TO BE RELEASED.
H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act has to get the majority vote for that to happen.
Don’t let the Republican representatives convince you they voted for this. THAT’S A LIE. They voted for H.R. 668 intended to clear Trump’s name from the sealed files.
Republicans are nothing more than paid voters
THIS IS A MATTER OF NATIONAL SECURITY
Trump is going to pardon Maxwell
Trump had his former lawyer Todd Blanche interview Maxwell. With the promise of being pardoned. Maxwell was instructed to say Trump never had involvement. The whole interview was designed to clear Trump from the Epstein/Trump pedophile ring. In exchange for Maxwell’s silence Trump is going to pardon her. Trump has put Maxwell in a minimum security prison to protect her for a reason.
Trump is going to have Maxwell testify before Congress to clear his name. In exchange she will be pardoned. Trump will do anything he can to clear his name. Trump is doing anything in his power to avoid the sealed Epstein/Trump files from being released.
IF EVERYONE DOES NOT MAKE THIS A BIG DEAL ITS GOING TO HAPPEN
